How many slices can I toast at once?
For best results, toast 2 or 4 slices. When toasting 2, place them in the center of the slots.
Why are two slices toasting unevenly?
Empty slots still heat up. Always place bread in the center of the slots for even toasting.
Why is only one side of my bread toasted?
The Bagel mode may be on. If the Bagel light is lit, only one side will toast. Turn off Bagel mode for regular toast.
Why do my bagels toast unevenly?
If the bagel is cut unevenly, thicker parts will be closer to the heat and toast darker. Try to slice bagels evenly.
How can I defrost bread without toasting it?
Use the Reheat function instead of Defrost. It warms the bread for 30 seconds—good for thawing without browning.
